Safe shopping

Shopping with a good feeling - this not only applies to prices and service, but also to data security.

We transmit all processes that concern sensitive data in encrypted form from your browser to our server. Concrete examples of secure data transmission are :

  • Password entry when logging into your customer account
  • Customer data input when registering your customer account
  • The entire area of your customer account
  • The complete ordering process from the shopping cart to the order confirmation

What is ssl ?

SSL is a protocol that ensures secure data transmission on the Internet. With an SSL-encrypted connection, all data between your PC and the website is transmitted in encrypted form and is therefore not visible to third parties. SSL encryption thus significantly reduces the risk of data misuse by compromising bodies.

How does ssl work in the OC1 shops

When you enter a shop area that handles sensitive data, the data is automatically transferred via an encrypted connection. You can recognize this by a lock symbol in the address line of your browser. By clicking on the lock you can make sure that you are actually connected to the shop and, if you wish, call up the properties of the encrypted connection.
