OC1 Tubeless Sealant 950ml Previous
The canister for a workshop or a race team
A puncture on the trail can ruin any ride. OC1 Tubeless Sealant is a solution that protects against most minor punctures — from thorns and small glass shards to tiny nails. This sealant works in real time: when something punctures the tyre, the liquid immediately fills the hole and creates a durable seal. You don't need to stop or look for a repair spot — you just keep riding.
The application range is exceptionally wide: from road bikes at 80 PSI, through gravel and cyclocross, to MTB, enduro and downhill at 15 PSI. One sealant, all bike types. The 5-litre canister is the workshop format: enough for dozens of tyres, easy to decant into smaller bottles, and enough to keep a service fleet or a race team supplied without constant reordering.
Main properties
What makes OC1 Tubeless Sealant stand out among other tubeless tyre sealants? This product is designed for both weekend amateur riders and demanding competitors.
- Adheres to entire tyre interior – the liquid spreads evenly across the inner tyre surface, creating a uniform protective layer.
- Ready to use – requires no dilution or special preparation, so you don't need to think about proportions, and the formula always works optimally.
- Ammonia-free – the synthetic latex-based formula contains no ammonia, which can cause irritation, making it a non-allergenic product safe for sensitive skin.
- Resistant to extreme conditions – the sealant remains effective across a wide temperature range: from -20°C to +50°C, providing 6+ months of protection in temperate climates.
- CO2 compatible – if you inflate tyres using CO2 cartridges, no problem, the sealant works efficiently with this inflation method too.

Who should use OC1 sealant?
OC1 Tubeless Sealant is a universal product that works in various usage scenarios. Amateur cyclists will appreciate the peace of mind — once applied, the product works for several months, protecting against minor punctures. Long-distance touring enthusiasts will find smaller packages an ideal emergency solution that doesn't take up luggage space.
Competitors and athletes need maximum equipment reliability. OC1 sealant is used by professional racers — if it works at world championships, it certainly won't fail during amateur competitions. Owners of multiple bikes — road, MTB and gravel — need only one sealant that works across all vehicle types. Urban cyclists riding on routes full of glass, sharp stones or thorns will appreciate the product's instant response to minor punctures, allowing them to reach their destination without stopping for repairs.
When to use Tubeless Sealant?
There are several key moments when it's worth topping up or replacing the sealant in your tyres.
- During first tubeless tyre installation – when switching to a tubeless system or fitting new tyres, you'll ensure maximum protection from the very start.
- Every 3–6 months with regular riding – the sealant dries out over time and loses effectiveness, regular topping up guarantees full protection.
- Before planned races or trips – before an important start or multi-day expedition, always check the sealant condition and top up if needed to ensure no puncture problems.
- After seasonal break – bike stood in the basement all winter? In spring, check the sealant condition and top up if necessary.
- When riding in extreme conditions – planning a route full of thorns, sharp stones or roots? Before such a trip, make sure you have enough fresh sealant.

How does this protection system work?
OC1 Tubeless Sealant is not just a liquid — it's a comprehensive protection system that works in multiple stages. After pouring into the tyre, the product evenly coats the entire inner surface with a thin layer that adheres to the material and forms the first line of defence against punctures. When a sharp object punctures the tyre, air pressure pushes the sealant through the hole, and the liquid immediately fills the opening and begins to thicken upon contact with air — this happens in a fraction of a second.
The synthetic latex formula creates a durable seal that withstands further use. This is not a temporary patch — it's a solid repair that will let you keep riding without worry. Most minor punctures are effectively sealed permanently. The product doesn't cause corrosion or damage tyres, rims or valves, it's friendly to all materials used in bicycles — from aluminium through carbon to rubber and gaskets. If needed, you can easily top up the sealant through the valve or when removing the tyre, you don't need to clean the tyre of old product residue.

1. Prepare the tyre and rim
Make sure the tyre is properly seated on the rim and the rim tape is correctly installed. If mounting tyres for the first time, it's worth checking system tightness before adding sealant.
2. Remove the valve core
Using a valve core tool, unscrew the core from the tubeless valve. This will allow the product to easily flow into the tyre interior. Keep the core in a safe place.
3. Inject the appropriate amount of sealant
Use a syringe or pour directly from the canister through the valve opening. Recommended amounts: 60–80 ml for road tyres, 80–120 ml for MTB/gravel. For 29" or plus tyres you can use up to 120–140 ml. The 5 l pack keeps a whole workshop or club fleet supplied without breaks to restock. Don't overdo the amount — too much product means unnecessary weight.
4. Reinstall the valve core
Screw the valve core back in and tighten it fairly firmly, but without overdoing it. Make sure it's sealed tightly.
5. Inflate the tyre to the recommended pressure
Use a hand pump, compressor or CO2 cartridge. Pump to the pressure recommended by the tyre manufacturer — usually from 15 PSI (gravel/enduro) to 80 PSI (road). The tubeless tyre sealant is fully compatible with CO2.
6. Rotate the wheel to distribute the product
Rotate the wheel several times in each direction and tilt it in various directions. You can also simply ride for a few minutes. This will make the sealant evenly cover the entire tyre interior.
Important
Ambient temperature — don't apply the product on hot surfaces or immediately after intense riding. It's best to work at room temperature when the tyre is cold or slightly warm.
Shake the canister before use — before application, vigorously shake the pack or stir the contents for 10–15 seconds so that the ingredients are well mixed and the sealant works optimally.
Monitor product level — every 2–3 months check the sealant condition in the tyre. If the liquid starts clumping or has dried out, top up or replace. With the 5 l pack you always have enough in reserve.
Protect your clothing — the sealant may stain fabrics. Work in clothes you don't mind getting dirty, or wear gloves and an apron. In workshop conditions we recommend always wearing work gloves.
Tip
Workshop and club service — the 5 l canister is the choice for bike workshops, cycling clubs and service centres that look after many machines regularly. The unit cost per application is clearly lower and the work never stops for a refill. At an average 100 ml per bike, one pack covers around 50 complete wheelsets.
Use the winter season — if you don't ride in winter, it's a good time to replace the product across the whole fleet. In spring every bike starts with fresh liquid and full protection for the entire season.
Does OC1 Tubeless Sealant work in every type of bicycle?
Yes, OC1 Tubeless Sealant is universal and works well in both road bikes with high pressure (up to 80 PSI) and MTB, enduro, gravel or downhill bikes with low pressure (from 15 PSI). One formula for all types of tubeless bicycles.
How much sealant do I need for one tyre?
For road tyres usually 60–80 ml is sufficient, for MTB/gravel tyres 80–120 ml. For large 29" tyres or plus tyres you can use up to 120–140 ml. One 5 l canister is enough for 40-50 MTB tyres.
How long does the product work in the tyre?
OC1 Tubeless Sealant provides up to 6+ months of protection in temperate climates. In dry and hot conditions it may require more frequent topping up (every 3–4 months), in humid climates it may last longer. Regularly check the product condition.
Will the sealant damage my tyres or rims?
No. The OC1 Tubeless Sealant formula is safe for all materials used in bicycles — it doesn't cause corrosion, doesn't damage tyres, rims, rim tape or valves. You can use it without worry in any tubeless system.
Can I use CO2 cartridges with this product?
Yes, OC1 Tubeless Sealant is fully compatible with CO2 cartridges. You can inflate tyres this way without any problems — the sealant will retain its properties.
What to do when the product clumps up?
Clumping is a sign that the sealant is starting to dry out and losing effectiveness. It's best to top up with fresh liquid or completely replace the product. Shake the tyre — sometimes this helps short-term, but ultimately you'll need to add new sealant.
Does the sealant seal every puncture?
The product handles small punctures excellently (thorns, small nails, fine glass) up to about 3–4 mm. Larger holes may require a patch or tyre replacement. In most everyday situations the sealant will handle things without your intervention.
How to store unused product?
Store at temperatures from 5°C to 25°C in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Make sure the bottle is tightly closed. Shake the bottle before each use.
Can I mix OC1 sealant with another product?
Although technically possible, we don't recommend mixing different sealant brands as they may react unpredictably with each other. It's best to completely remove the old product and fill the tyres with fresh OC1 Tubeless Sealant.
How much does the product weigh and does it affect bike weight?
The sealant has similar density to water. The recommended amount of 60–120 ml is an additional 60–120 g per tyre, which is an acceptable cost for puncture protection. Most cyclists consider this trade-off beneficial — you save time and stress while gaining peace of mind.
Can I use the product in tyres with inner tubes?
The sealant is designed for tubeless systems. In tyres with inner tubes it won't work properly because it doesn't have access to the inner tyre surface. If you want to switch to tubeless tyres, OC1 Tubeless Sealant is an excellent choice to start.
How easy is the product to wash off?
Sealant residues are easily removed with warm or hot water and a sponge. The product doesn't create permanent stains and you can easily wash it off rims, tyres or tools.
