Mud, dust, sand and water – after a tough trail, a motorcycle, ATV or bike needs more than a quick rinse. The OC1 Offroad Must Have Bundle takes you through three stages of care: deep cleaning, protection for rubber and plastic, and a finish with lasting gloss.
The bundle contains Off-Road Cleaner 950 ml, Tires & Plastic Shine 450 ml and Bike Shine 500 ml. They are chosen to complement each other – the nanotechnology removes dirt, the shine protects tyres and plastics, and the finishing spray forms a hydrophobic coating. These are products used by racers, yet so easy to use that anyone can handle them.
What is in the bundle?
Three products that cover every stage of care:
- Off-Road Cleaner 950 ml – a ready-to-use cleaner with nanotechnology that breaks dirt down from the inside, so there is no need to scrub. The 2-in-1 trigger switches between foam and a stream for rinsing hard-to-reach spots. It removes mud, insect marks and oily deposits from motorcycles, bikes and ATVs, and is intended for plastic, rubber, paint and anodised metal when used as directed; rinse brake discs with water after washing. Tested by, among others, Max Nagl, the German MXGP champion.
- Tires & Plastic Shine 450 ml – a tyre and plastic shine with a pearl hydrophobic effect. Water beads and runs off, and antistatic properties keep dust from sticking. The clear formula leaves no white residue on dark surfaces.
- Bike Shine 500 ml – a finishing spray that creates a deep gloss and a hydrophobic coating. It is antistatic and repels water, and the coating makes the next wash easier – with no polishing and no surface prep.
Who is this bundle for and when should you use it?
This bundle is for everyone who rides off-road and does not want to lose the evening to cleaning up: motocross and enduro racers, ATV owners, MTB riders and offroad rally fans. If you come home from a muddy trail with another start the next day, you will appreciate that fully cleaning and protecting the whole vehicle takes a dozen or so minutes. Off-Road Cleaner irritates skin and can cause serious eye damage - wash wearing protective gloves and goggles. Bike Shine is an extremely flammable aerosol: apply it outdoors or in a garage with the door open, away from heat and ignition sources.
Use Off-Road Cleaner after riding in mud and water, ideally before the dirt has time to dry and bake onto the surface, and also after enduro and motocross events and after river crossings. The tyre and plastic shine refreshes the colour of faded parts, so it is useful at the end of the season and before showing off your gear.
Apply Bike Shine after every wash, especially a pressure wash, which strips the earlier layer. Before long storage the coating protects against dust and moisture, and before a sale it restores a well-kept look in minutes.
This is a bundle sized for a professional service: in the paddock every second counts, and a motorcycle heading out for qualifying in an hour has to be clean, protected and look good in front of the cameras. The shine formula is clear, so it leaves no dark marks on light-coloured parts, so it works on rubber as well as on plastics of any colour.
How to use the bundle – step by step
Three stages, from the dirtiest work to the finish:
- 1. Wash the vehicle – spray the surface with Off-Road Cleaner (foam or stream), wait a moment and rinse. The whole wash takes about 5 minutes.
- 2. Care for tyre sidewalls and plastics – apply Tires & Plastic Shine to the sidewalls and plastic parts, then wipe. Do not apply it to the tread, footpegs, grips or seat. The coating protects against fading and slows down re-soiling.
- 3. Finish with gloss – apply Bike Shine to clean surfaces, wait a moment and wipe. Avoid brake discs and pads.
