Motorcycle and cycling clothing works in tough conditions: mud gets into it, exhaust fumes and insects settle on it, and after hours of riding your helmet, gloves and boots soak up sweat. Good care is not just about cleanliness but also comfort, hygiene and fabric durability.
The OC1 Gear Care Bundle contains three products that together remove dirt, eliminate unpleasant odours and protect fabrics with an invisible, breathable coating: Textile Cleaner 500 ml, Fresh Up 450 ml and Impregnation Spray 500 ml. You do not have to choose between cleanliness and breathability – the products are chosen so they do not damage membranes or fibres.
What is in the bundle?
Three products for jackets, gloves, helmets, boots and bags:
- Textile Cleaner 500 ml – a cleaning foam that removes exhaust deposits, rain spots and insect residue from jackets and motorcycle clothing. It dries quickly (within a few minutes), leaves a delicate scent and is safe for synthetic and natural fibres, without discolouring or weakening breathable membranes. It also works on car seats and upholstery.
- Fresh Up 450 ml – a product that eliminates unpleasant odours from clothing, boots, helmets, protective gear and bags. It neutralises unpleasant odours in clothing, shoes, helmets and protectors, needs no rinsing and leaves no stains.
- Impregnation Spray 500 ml - a proofing spray free of perfluorinated compounds (PFC). It forms a microscopic barrier that repels water and dirt but lets water vapor through, so the fabric still breathes. It works on hardshell jackets, down clothing, leather gloves and textile boots, and also protects against fading in the sun.
Who is this bundle for and when should you use it?
This bundle is for motorcyclists, motocross and enduro racers, cyclists and everyone who spends a lot of time in a helmet and technical clothing. It is also valued by anyone who trains regularly, because even when one person uses one helmet every day, sweat moisture in the lining encourages odours. Fresh Up also helps owners of riding schools and gear rental shops, who need to refresh helmets and protective gear between customers.
Use Textile Cleaner after every ride in the rain so that dirt does not work its way in for good, after a run-in with insects, and before longer storage – dirt left on can damage fibres over time. Reach for Fresh Up after every training session or ride, while sweat moisture has not yet evaporated (sweat moisture encourages odours most in the first hours), and before multi-day trips and races.
Waterproof after buying new clothing, after the third or fourth wash, which strips the protective layer, and before the autumn and winter season – one evening is enough to protect jackets, trousers and gloves for the months ahead.
How to use the bundle – step by step
First cleaning, then freshening, finally waterproofing – protection always goes on clean fabric:
- 1. Clean the clothing – spray stains and soiled areas with Textile Cleaner foam, wait a moment and wipe. The clothing dries within a few minutes.
- 2. Freshen the helmet and gear – spray Fresh Up inside the helmet, on boots, gloves or protective gear and let them dry. No stains are left.
- 3. Waterproof – once clean, apply Impregnation Spray in several thin coats to build full protection, and let it dry. The fabric still breathes.
