1. Clean the chain thoroughly
Use OC1 Chain Cleaner or another degreaser to remove old lubricant, dirt and deposits. A clean chain is essential — the new lubricant must reach the metal directly, not settle on a layer of grime.
2. Shake the can before use
Thorough shaking ensures the active ingredients are evenly mixed. Every application then has the same level of effectiveness.
3. Spray the chain evenly
Hold the can about 10–15 cm from the chain and spray evenly along its full length, directing the aerosol onto the rollers. It is best to do this while slowly turning the cranks or the wheel so that every link is covered.
4. Leave to dry
The lubricant needs about 10 minutes to dry and form a durable protective coating. During this time do not move the vehicle — let the formula penetrate deep into the chain links.
Important
Avoid applying lubricant to tyre treads and braking surfaces — it can affect traction and braking performance.
Use the product in a well-ventilated room or outdoors.
Do not expose the can to temperatures above 50 °C.
Store away from heat sources, sparks and open flames.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes — in case of contact rinse thoroughly with water.
Tip
For optimal protection, reapply the lubricant after every ride in harsh conditions (rain, mud). After application, wipe off excess lubricant with a clean cloth to prevent dust attraction. If you use a UV torch, you can check the coverage of the entire chain and remove any overspray from other components.

How should the product be used and disposed of safely?
OC1 Chain Lube is an aerosol with hydrocarbon solvents - use it outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, away from ignition sources, wearing protective gloves.
