Remove stubborn residue effortlessly
Anyone who has ever tried to remove a sticker from fairings or rim tape residue knows how frustrating this task can be. OC1 Extra Glue Remover is a professional adhesive remover that makes this thankless job simple. The citrus-based formula naturally breaks down grease, adhesives and resins, while slow evaporation gives you time to clean thoroughly without rushing.
You don't need to be a workshop mechanic to get rid of stubborn residue – just apply, wait two minutes and wipe off. The surface remains clean, without greasy marks, ready for applying new graphics or further work.
Main properties of this remover
Extra Glue Remover was designed with various applications in motorcycle and bicycle care in mind. What makes it stand out from other products?
- Citrus cleaning power – natural citrus extracts penetrate deep into the structure of adhesives and grease, breaking them down from within, eliminating the risk of scratches.
- Safe for all materials – non-corrosive nature means you can use it on metal, aluminium, plastic, carbon fibre and wood without worrying about damage.
- Controlled evaporation – unlike fast-drying removers, Extra Glue Remover evaporates slowly, giving extra time to thoroughly remove stubborn contamination.
- Zero residue – after wiping, the surface is perfectly clean, without greasy film or white spots, which is especially important before applying new graphics or rim tape.

Who should use it?
Extra Glue Remover is a product that finds application wherever professional removal of adhesive and greasy contamination is needed. Riders and racing teams frequently change graphics on motorcycles, sometimes even several times per season — the remover allows quick removal of old residue before applying new graphics. Tubeless bicycle owners will appreciate the ability to clean rims from tape residue and sealant, ensuring perfect cleanliness for tubeless setup. Customisation enthusiasts, changing stickers on fairings, helmets or frames, will find a reliable tool for surface preparation before new graphics.
Workshops and service centres have in Extra Glue Remover a product that solves many problems — from removing adhesive residue to cleaning surfaces from resin, tar or wax. The product works wherever professional cleanliness and precise preparation of components for further work is required.
When to use Extra Glue Remover?
- Graphics and sticker replacement – after removing old graphics, adhesive residue remains that makes applying new graphics difficult, and the product removes this residue within two minutes.
- Rim preparation for tubeless setup – thorough cleaning of rims from old tape residue and sealant is essential for successful tubeless installation.
- Removing tar and resin stains – during off-road riding, tree tar or resin stains may settle on fairings and frame, which regular cleaning agents cannot handle.
- Surface cleaning before painting or wrapping – professional surface preparation requires removal of all greasy contamination.
- Removing wax and polishing compounds – if wax or compound residue remains on fairings leaving white marks, the remover eliminates them without leaving residue.

Versatile applications
OC1 Extra Glue Remover adhesive remover is much more than just an adhesive remover — its universal formula handles a wide range of stubborn contamination. If you accidentally stain fairings with marker or paint, this remover will help remove stains without damaging the finish. The product also works excellently for cleaning oil deposits — greasy stains from chain or engine splatter disappear thanks to the citrus formula that breaks down oil more effectively than regular detergents. Extra Glue Remover is also ideal for surface preparation before protection, as before applying protective films or other coatings the surface must be perfectly degreased.

1. Surface preparation
Make sure the surface is dry and free of loose contaminants. You can wipe it with a dry cloth beforehand to remove dust and fine dirt. Before using on a new surface, test the product on a small, hidden area to check material reaction.
2. Applying the remover
Hold the can approximately 15–20 cm from the surface and evenly spray the area with adhesive residue, tar or other contaminants. For thicker layers you can apply more product. The aerosol precisely dispenses the remover without unnecessary spilling.
3. Action time
Leave the product on the surface for 2–3 minutes to allow the citrus formula to penetrate and break down contaminants. The thicker the adhesive layer, the longer you can wait – the product won't dry quickly thanks to slow evaporation.
4. Removing contaminants
Wipe off dissolved residue with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. For particularly stubborn contaminants you can gently rub the surface – the remover has softened the adhesive so it should come off easily. Repeat the process if needed.
5. Final cleaning
After removing the main contaminants you can wipe the surface with a clean cloth or rinse with water. Extra Glue Remover leaves no residue, so the surface will be perfectly clean and ready for further work – such as applying new graphics.
Important
Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Although the citrus formula is more pleasant than aggressive solvents, it's always worth ensuring proper air circulation. Store at 5–25 °C, away from heat sources and fire. Avoid contact with eyes and skin – if the product gets into eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not use on hot surfaces. The product is non-corrosive, but it's always worth testing it on a small area before applying to the entire surface.
Tip
Best results are achieved when using Extra Glue Remover at room temperature. If the product was stored in a cool place, leave it in warmth for a moment before use – the remover will work more effectively. When removing graphics from larger surfaces, divide the work into sections – thanks to slow evaporation the product will still be active while you work on subsequent areas. After cleaning the surface of adhesive residue you can immediately proceed to applying new graphics – the product leaves no greasy film that would hinder adhesion.
Is Extra Glue Remover safe for all surfaces?
Extra Glue Remover was designed as a non-corrosive product, safe for most surfaces including metal, aluminium, plastic, carbon fibre, wood and stone. Racers use it on expensive carbon frames without worrying about damage. Nevertheless, we always recommend testing the product on a small, hidden area before first use, especially on unusual or delicate materials.
How long do you have to wait before the remover starts working?
The citrus formula starts breaking down adhesive and grease almost immediately after application. For optimal results we recommend waiting 2–3 minutes, which allows the product to fully penetrate the contaminant. Thanks to slow evaporation the remover stays active longer than standard products, so you can work at your own pace without rushing.
Do you need to rinse the surface with water after using Extra Glue Remover?
This is not necessary. Extra Glue Remover leaves no residue or greasy film, so after wiping with a clean cloth the surface is ready for further work. However, you can rinse the surface with water if you plan to immediately apply new graphics or tape – some prefer this approach to ensure perfect cleanliness.
Can I use Extra Glue Remover to remove stickers from a helmet or visor?
Yes, the product is safe for plastics and polycarbonate from which helmets and visors are made. It excellently removes adhesive residue from stickers. However, remember not to apply it on painted or lacquered helmet elements without prior testing – some paints may be sensitive to citrus solvents.
How often can I use this remover on the same element?
You can use Extra Glue Remover as often as needed – it doesn't damage surfaces or cause degradation. Racers changing graphics several times per season use it regularly on the same fairings without any problems. The product doesn't damage paint or plastic even with frequent use.
Does Extra Glue Remover remove tubeless tyre sealant?
Yes, it handles sealant residue and rim tape adhesive excellently. This is one of the main reasons bicycle mechanics choose this product – it facilitates rim preparation for new tubeless mounting by removing all residue from previous installation.
How to store Extra Glue Remover?
Store the product at 5–25 °C, in a dry place, away from heat sources and fire. The aerosol can should be kept in an upright position. Do not store in places exposed to direct sunlight. After use, make sure the cap is tightly closed. Properly stored product maintains its properties for a long time.
Does Extra Glue Remover have a strong, unpleasant smell?
No. Unlike aggressive industrial removers, Extra Glue Remover has a pleasant citrus aroma from natural extracts. Working with the product is comfortable, although we always recommend using it in a well-ventilated area.
Can I use Extra Glue Remover on painted surfaces?
Yes, the product is non-corrosive and doesn't damage paint. Racers apply it directly on painted frames and fairings when removing graphics. However, as with any new product, we recommend testing on a small area, especially if the paint is unusual or very delicate.
How much surface can be cleaned with one 500 ml can?
Efficiency depends on the type and amount of contaminants. One 500 ml can is enough for multiple graphics removal from a complete set of motorcycle fairings or for cleaning several dozen bicycle rims. With typical workshop use, one can may last an entire season, making this product a very economical solution.
Does Extra Glue Remover work on old, hardened adhesive?
Yes, the citrus formula penetrates even old, hardened adhesive, breaking it down from within. This may take slightly longer than with fresh adhesive – in such cases leave the product on the surface for 3–4 minutes instead of the standard 2 minutes. You can also apply an additional layer of remover on particularly stubborn areas.
