You don't need to be a leather care expert to enjoy its beautiful appearance and long lifespan.
The product combines effective cleaning with comprehensive protection. Used by professionals in motorsport, it has been designed so anyone can easily care for their leather equipment. It's an investment in longer gear lifespan and future savings.
Key product properties
What sets Leather Cleaner apart from standard leather cleaning products? The unique combination of natural ingredients with a professional cleaning formula delivers results you'll notice from the first use.
- Olive oil soap – natural ingredients penetrate deep into the leather structure, removing contamination whilst nourishing the material.
- Nourishing glycerine – retains moisture within the material, preventing leather from drying out and hardening.
- Turpentine oil – a natural solvent that effectively removes greasy stains, grease and stubborn contamination without aggressive action on leather structure.
- High dissolving properties – the formula quickly breaks down dirt and contamination, saving time during cleaning.
- Hydrophobic effect – after application, leather gains a waterproof coating that beads rain and protects against soaking.

Who is it designed for?
Leather Cleaner is a product for all motorcycle owners who have leather equipment and want to preserve its quality for years. Recreational motorcyclists will appreciate the ability to regularly clean gloves and jackets after each season to protect them before winter and keep them in perfect condition. Daily commuters know their leather equipment is exposed to sweat, exhaust fumes and changeable weather — the product effectively removes odours and contamination, restoring freshness and comfort.
Motorcycle sports and off-road riding enthusiasts are aware that mud, dust and extreme conditions quickly damage leather. Professional care extends equipment lifespan and protects investment in high-quality protective clothing. Leather Cleaner is also ideal for owners of leather accessory collections — panniers, saddles and bags made from natural leather require systematic maintenance to preserve their aesthetic appearance and functionality for years.
When to use Leather Cleaner?
Regular leather care is key to its longevity. Leather Cleaner proves useful in many situations.
- After riding in rain or mud – moisture and contamination can lead to discolouration and structural damage to leather; prompt cleaning prevents permanent changes.
- Before the motorcycle season – prepare your equipment after winter storage by refreshing it and restoring flexibility.
- After intensive use – sweat and body heat cause contamination to settle in the leather structure; regular cleaning eliminates unpleasant odours.
- Before long-term storage – protect your leather equipment before winter or an extended break from riding.

1. Shake the bottle
Shake the bottle thoroughly for 10-15 seconds before use. This ensures the active ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the product, providing optimal cleaning and conditioning properties.
2. Apply product to a cloth
Apply a small amount of Leather Cleaner directly onto a soft cloth. Do not spray the product directly onto leather to avoid uncontrolled saturation and possible discolouration in one spot.
3. Clean with gentle motions
Gently wipe the leather surface with the cloth using circular motions. Do not press too hard — the product breaks down contamination on its own. Work systematically, section by section, to cover the entire surface.
4. Use a brush on stubborn stains
For heavily soiled areas or greasy stains, use a soft natural bristle brush. Work with gentle motions to avoid scratching the leather surface. The product effectively dissolves contamination without intensive scrubbing.
5. Allow to dry
Leave the leather to dry completely at room temperature. Do not use heaters or hairdryers — natural drying allows the conditioning ingredients to penetrate the material structure. The process typically takes 2-3 hours.
6. Buff to a shine (optional)
Once dry, you may gently buff the surface with a clean, dry cloth. This produces an elegant, natural shine that enhances the beauty of the leather.
Important
Do not apply the product to hot surfaces immediately after riding — allow the leather to cool to room temperature. Avoid use in full sun or extremely high temperatures. Store the product at 5-25°C, away from heat sources and sunlight. Keep away from children and animals. Product intended for external use on motorcycle leather only.
Tip
For best results, use Leather Cleaner regularly — after every 3-4 rides in dry conditions or immediately after riding in rain or mud. If you have light-coloured leather (beige, brown), always test the product first on an inconspicuous area to ensure no discolouration occurs. After cleaning, consider applying OC1 Impregnation Spray for additional waterproof protection.
Can I use Leather Cleaner on all types of motorcycle leather?
Yes, the product is safe for all leather types used in motorcycles and motorcycle equipment — natural, full-grain, suede and nubuck. The formula has been developed to avoid damaging the material structure regardless of type. If you have particularly delicate leather or an unusual finish, we recommend testing on an inconspicuous area first.
How often should I clean my leather equipment?
Frequency depends on usage intensity and conditions. For recreational riding, we recommend cleaning every 3-4 outings or at least once per season. If you ride daily or in harsh conditions (mud, rain), clean your gear after each intensive use. Always clean before long-term storage and after periods of high humidity.
Does Leather Cleaner provide long-lasting water protection?
Yes, the product creates a hydrophobic coating that beads water and protects against rain. The effect lasts for several weeks of regular use in dry conditions. With frequent riding in rain or mud, protection requires refreshing after each intensive contact with moisture. For enhanced water resistance, we recommend additionally using OC1 Impregnation Spray.
Does the product change leather colour or texture?
No, the formula has been developed to preserve the natural appearance of leather. The product is transparent and does not leave stains or discolouration. It nourishes leather, restoring its natural, subtle sheen without an artificial glossy effect. For very light or unusually finished leathers, always test on a small, inconspicuous area first.
Can I use Leather Cleaner on saddles and panniers?
Absolutely. The product is ideal for cleaning and conditioning all leather motorcycle accessories — saddles, panniers, bags, covers and straps. The formula safely cleans material exposed to friction and contact with motorcycle components, whilst preventing cracking and drying during storage.
Does the product remove odours from leather gloves?
Yes, Leather Cleaner effectively eliminates unpleasant odours caused by sweat and moisture. Natural ingredients neutralise bacteria responsible for unpleasant smells, leaving a gentle, fresh scent. For best results, clean gloves regularly and allow them to dry completely before reuse.
How long does leather take to dry after product application?
The drying process typically takes 2-3 hours at room temperature with good ventilation. In cooler or humid conditions, this may take up to 4-5 hours. Never accelerate drying with a hairdryer or heater — natural drying allows conditioning ingredients to optimally penetrate the material structure.
Do I need to use a brush or is a cloth sufficient?
In most cases, a soft microfibre cloth is sufficient. A brush is only needed for particularly stubborn contamination, such as dried mud or greasy stains. If using a brush, choose models with soft, natural bristles and work with gentle motions to avoid damaging the leather surface.
Is the product safe for perforated leather?
Yes, Leather Cleaner safely cleans perforated leather, often used in summer motorcycle gear. The formula does not block ventilation holes and does not affect the breathable properties of the material. Apply the product using a cloth, avoiding excessive saturation of perforated areas.
What should I do if leather has hardened through neglect?
Leather Cleaner can help restore flexibility to neglected leather, but requires several applications. Clean the leather according to instructions, allow to dry, then repeat the process after 2-3 days. Glycerine and turpentine oil gradually nourish the material. For serious damage, we recommend consulting a professional leather restorer.
Can I use the product on leather motorcycle boots?
Yes, Leather Cleaner works excellently for cleaning leather motorcycle boots. Pay particular attention to areas most prone to contamination — uppers, soles and flex points. After cleaning and drying, boots will be soft, clean and protected against moisture during your next rides.
How should I store leather equipment after cleaning?
After thorough cleaning and drying, store leather equipment in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight. Avoid airtight plastic packaging, which can lead to mould growth. Fabric covers or hangers that allow air circulation are best. Leather should "breathe" during storage.
